Experience
I have gained experience in both public and private healthcare settings. Particularly valuable to me were:
working in a day psychiatric unit,
serving as a psychologist in an occupational therapy workshop,
completing a clinical internship at the Sexology and Sexual Disorders Outpatient Clinic at Nowowiejski Hospital in Warsaw.
For many years, I have been involved in the non-governmental sector, including cooperation with the Trans-Fuzja Foundation, where I provided consultations and facilitated support groups for transgender and non-binary individuals. Working in support of LGBT+ communities is especially important to me—I am guided by knowledge, an understanding of the socio-cultural context, and an openness to gender, sexual, and relational diversity.
Work Areas
I specialize in psychotherapy for adults, supporting them in sexological difficulties as well as a wide range of emotional, adjustment, and personality-related issues, such as depression, anxiety disorders, and stress. I have had a long-standing interest in neurodiversity, and many of my clients are neuroatypical. I have over a decade of experience in both individual and group therapy.
I regularly supervise my work to ensure the high quality of support I provide to my clients.
Therapy Approach
The foundation of my work is openness and curiosity toward the other person. In the therapeutic relationship, I prioritise trust and collaboration—I believe that everyone who seeks support is an expert in their own experience, functioning, and understanding of the world.
Education
I am a psychologist and a certified cognitive-behavioral psychotherapist (PTTPB certificate no. 1258). I completed:
a degree in Psychology at the University of Łódź,
postgraduate studies in Clinical Sexology at SWPS University,
postgraduate studies in Psychological Assessment in Clinical Practice at SWPS University,
a comprehensive training programme at the School of Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy at SWPS University (with distinction).
Additionally, I completed advanced sexology training courses organised by the Centre of Postgraduate Medical Education under the direction of Professor Zbigniew Lew-Starowicz. These included topics such as the diagnosis and treatment of sexual disorders, the sexuality of people with disabilities, and forensic sexology.
Additional information
I combine clinical work with teaching—I conduct classes for students and postgraduate participants at SWPS University, as well as training courses for professionals. I also collaborate with the Institute of Psychology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) on a research project examining the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral therapy.
I continuously expand my knowledge by participating in trainings, courses, and conferences.
I am a member of the Polish Society for Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy.
