Experience
I gained experience in dietetics and psychodietetics working as an intern in clinics, hospital wards, hospices, collaborating with foundations, as well as during individual practice.Work Areas
I specialize in psychodietetic support for people who:
• suffer from eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and others),
• are undiagnosed but feel their relationship with food is disturbed,
• eat emotionally,
• have tried many diets that ended unsuccessfully,
• struggle with overweight and obesity,
• feel that thoughts about weight, body shape, and food take up a significant part of their day and lower their quality of life.
I also work with individuals with ADHD and ASC. I understand the nutritional challenges related to neurodiversity, such as forgetting to eat, the need for stimulation through food, different perceptions of hunger and satiety signals, sensory hypersensitivity, difficulties in meal planning, food neophobia, and more. I help them manage these challenges.Therapy Approach
In my work, I follow an individual approach, tailoring the process to each client’s needs. What matters most to me is the client’s safety, respect, support, and acceptance. Regardless of the challenges you’re facing, these values will always be the foundation of our work together.
I highly value working with approaches such as Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and selected cognitive-behavioral techniques. I choose methods that help clients understand the mechanisms and beliefs that make lasting change difficult, so they can move toward meaningful and sustainable progress.Education
I hold degrees in Dietetics from the Higher School of Health, Beauty and Education in Poznań and the Poznań University of Medical Sciences. I am currently in my final year of a five-year master’s program in Psychology. I have also completed the Motivational Interviewing Training offered by the Polish Society for Motivational Dialogue, as well as a specialized course in the Treatment of Eating Disorders at the National Center for Eating Disorders.Additional information
I regularly participate in scientific conferences and training sessions in the fields of psychodietetics and dietary therapy for various illnesses. Outside of work, I volunteer as a support line consultant for people experiencing grief and loss, as well as on an oncology helpline. I also provide assistance to patients as a medical volunteer in a hospice.
