Experience

I gained my first professional experience as an intern at the Pabianice Psychiatric Center and the Dr. Karol Jonscher Municipal Medical Center. Additionally, I had the opportunity to complete an internship at the National Center for Eating Disorders. Currently, I run my own practice where I offer a wide range of services aimed at improving your health and well-being. In my work, I provide consultations, conduct nutritional education, and offer psychoeducation. I also develop personalized nutrition plans tailored to individual needs and goals. My workplace is a welcoming office in Łódź, where I work daily with both adults and adolescents (from 14 years old).

Work Areas

I am a certified psychologist and dietitian, specializing in psychodietetics. I support individuals who want to start eating healthily or repair their relationship with food, including those with eating disorders. I specialize in working with people who have undergone numerous weight-loss diets and wish to break the cycle of dieting. I believe that having the right knowledge is necessary but not sufficient for lasting changes in eating habits, which is why I also support those who understand the principles of healthy eating but struggle to apply them in practice. I invite you to a consultation if you: * eat in response to stress or emotions; * have had unsuccessful attempts at weight loss; * experience binge eating episodes; * find it hard to control your intake of sweets or snacks; * are constantly thinking about food; * feel guilt about what you eat; * have eating disorders such as compulsive eating, bulimia, or anorexia.

Therapy Approach

I understand that a person is a complex whole, which is why I take a holistic approach — paying attention not only to proper nutrition but also to physical activity, sleep, interpersonal relationships, and of course the psychological sphere (motivation, sense of self-efficacy, self-control, stress management, identification and expression of emotions, assertiveness). In my work with clients, respecting each individual’s autonomy is paramount — I do not use coercion, prohibitions, or orders, but rather identify, uncover, and strengthen your strengths. Our meetings take place in an atmosphere of kindness, understanding, and acceptance.

Education

I obtained my education at the University of Łódź and the Medical University of Łódź. Continuous improvement of my knowledge and practical skills in working with patients is extremely important to me. That is why I also completed the Eating Disorders Treatment Program organized by the National Center for Eating Disorders. This allows me to provide you with comprehensive and professional care tailored to your individual needs.

Additional information

I regularly participate in scientific conferences and training sessions in the fields of psychodietetics and diet therapy for diseases. Professionally, I am interested in healthy nutrition, overweight, obesity, eating disorders (compulsive eating, bulimia, orthorexia), emotional eating, and diet-related diseases.
