Experience
I gained my professional experience during a clinical internship at the Provincial Hospital for Nervous and Mentally Ill Patients “Dziekanka” in Gniezno and at the Women’s Hearts Foundation, where I provide psychotherapy for women who love too much. I have participated in a range of specialized trainings, including: “Fundamentals of General and Applied Psychology” (Greater Poland Gestalt Psychotherapy School), “Working with Couples in the Gestalt Approach” (Dr. Nurith Levi), “The Experience of the Oedipal Triangle” (Dr. Robert Fischer), training in Transactional Analysis (EATA), Motivational Interviewing (Personal Development and Psychoeducation Studio Moc Poznania), “Becoming Yourself” — a supervisory-development group with Jan Roubal (Łódź Gestalt Center), “Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder — Theory and Practice” (Gianni Francesetti), “Working with People in Addiction Processes from the Gestalt Perspective” (Marta Wołowska-Ciaś), “The Oedipus Complex in the Therapy Room” — a supervisory workshop with Wojciech Eichelberger, “Psychosomatic Disorders in Gestalt Therapy” (Carmen Vazquez-Bandin), “Body Dynamics in the Therapeutic Relationship” with Ruella Frank, “The Emerging Field of Embodied Relationship” (Carmen J. Ablack), “Shame and Guilt” (Frans Meulemeester), and “Couples Therapy and Other Intimate Relationships” (Carmen Joanne Ablack).Therapy Approach
In my professional work, I attentively and curiously support and accompany the client through change. I focus on the therapeutic relationship and on mindfully experiencing it in the “here and now.” This special encounter is, for me, a space for feeling and expressing all emotions, desires, thoughts, and movements between therapist and client — expanding the client’s self-awareness.
I help uncover the inner resources needed to transform limitations into possibilities, working with openness and authenticity in relational contact. I support the therapeutic process with bodywork based on Gestalt, Somatic Experiencing (SE), and movement patterns.Education
I am a graduate of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań with a degree in early childhood education with art therapy, and of the University of Humanities and Economics in Łódź with a degree in resocialization. As part of a four-year program at the Greater Poland School of Gestalt Psychotherapists in Poznań, I completed the “Gestalt Psychological Help in Professional Practice” program and the clinical program “School of Individual and Group Gestalt Psychotherapists” — I hold the EAGT certificate no. 24-3901.
I also completed studies in psychology with a specialization in clinical and personality psychology at the School of Business – National Louis University in Nowy Sącz, a course on eating disorders at the National Center for Eating Disorders, and sexology studies at the School of Business – NLU in Nowy Sącz. I am currently participating in a three-year Somatic Experiencing course — a method for treating trauma symptoms and alleviating chronic stress.Additional information
I am particularly interested in psychophysiological work with the nervous system (specifically the vagus nerve), focusing on treating trauma symptoms and building psychological resilience by releasing and recovering resources connected to traumatic experiences across different stages of life.
I regularly submit my work to ongoing individual and group supervision and consistently participate in therapeutic workshops and trainings.
