Experience

I have been working in the profession since 2004. I have gained professional experience in various settings including the Mental Health Clinic at the Specialist Medical Outpatient Center where I provided individual and group therapy for adults affected by the "Adult Children of Alcoholics syndrome", a residential care and education center working with children and adolescents in foster care, the Neurotic Disorders Unit at the MSWiA Hospital in Otwock, parenting sessions at the Prenatal School affiliated with Praski Hospital, and collaborations with private psychotherapy practices I am also actively engaged as an assertiveness trainer conducting workshops focused on interpersonal skills, improving self-esteem, and increasing motivation for change. Additionally I cooperate with social assistance centers where I support individuals at risk of social exclusion, those experiencing violence, and people affected by learned helplessness. I find great satisfaction in witnessing others rediscover themselves and supporting them in building a constructive vision for their lives.

Work Areas

I offer psychological support, individual psychotherapy for adults, couples and marriage therapy, as well as guidance in developing parenting skills. I respect and embrace diversity, and provide affirming support for LGBT+ individuals.

Therapy Approach

Therapeutic work, to me, is a journey inward — a process of discovering one’s values and inner strengths that make it possible to meet personal needs and overcome life’s challenges. During this journey, I aim to accompany and support the person in choosing the paths they wish to follow. I adapt my approach to suit each individual's needs and difficulties. I see every person who enters my office as a whole being — striving to understand their inner world of emotions, beliefs, strengths, experiences, and conflicts. I don’t offer ready-made solutions; rather, I believe that each individual has the inner power and potential to improve their quality of life. My role is to walk alongside them as they rediscover that power. I empathize and unconditionally accept all emotions that may arise during therapy. I draw from various therapeutic methods, with a particular affinity for the humanistic approach, which focuses on building a safe, trusting relationship. I also incorporate elements of Gestalt therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy in my work.

Education

I am a psychologist and psychotherapist. I earned my Master’s degree in Psychology in 2003 from the Faculty of Psychology at the SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw. I refined my therapeutic skills in a four-year Psychotherapy School run by the Center for Psychological Help and Education – INTRA, which is recommended by the Polish Psychological Association. I regularly participate in professional supervision to ensure the quality and effectiveness of my work.
