Experience
I gained professional experience at the Psychiatric Ward of the University Hospital in Krakow and at the Crisis Intervention Center in Myślenice.
Work Areas
On a daily basis, I most often work therapeutically with individuals:
- with eating disorders,
- anxiety disorders,
- mood disorders,
- personality disorders (including borderline),
- experiencing difficulties in forming attachments,
- who are co-dependent,
- women experiencing domestic violence.
As part of my collaboration with Wellbee, I conduct online psychotherapy sessions and also provide local support to clients in my psychological practice.Therapy Approach
In my work, I am characterized by dynamism and attentiveness to the client’s issues. I primarily view therapy as a process of building a relationship through openness, empathy, and careful following of the client and their concerns. I mainly work within the cognitive-behavioral approach, but I believe that, like any relationship, a therapeutic one requires flexibility. Therefore, I also draw on the humanistic approach, schema therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
Education
I am a certified cognitive-behavioral psychotherapist and a licensed psychologist. I completed a unified, five-year master’s degree program at Jagiellonian University. I participated in a comprehensive cognitive-behavioral therapy training program at the CBT EDU Center in Warsaw. I am a member of the Polish Society of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. I also completed the Psychological Group Training and Psychosocial Skills Workshop at the Institute of Therapy and Psychological Education. I regularly undergo supervision with a certified CBT supervisor.
