Experience
Since 2018, I have been working with mental health facilities both in person and online, providing individual psychotherapy for adults. I have also facilitated DBT skills training groups and Family Connections™ program groups.
Work Areas
I provide individual psychotherapy for adults, offering support in areas such as mood disorders (e.g., depression, bipolar disorder) and anxiety disorders (e.g., panic attacks, generalized anxiety disorder, social phobia, health anxiety, specific phobias).
Therapy Approach
I am a psychotherapist working with adults within the cognitive-behavioral and dialectical behavior therapy approaches. When planning the therapeutic process, I draw from both models to tailor the therapy to the individual needs and challenges of each client. In our sessions, you can expect a safe, non-judgmental space where any topic can be brought up and emotions can be freely expressed—because in therapy, emotions are meant to come out, not be held in! :)
Education
I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology (Neurobiopsychology, University of Gdańsk) and completed a 4-year psychotherapy training program in the cognitive-behavioral approach at SWPS University in Sopot. I am currently in the process of certification with the Polish Association for Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy (PTTPiB). I also completed a one-year postgraduate program in Clinical Psychology at the Medical University of Gdańsk.
Additionally, I have completed a certification training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), co-led by Behavioral Tech, Seattle, USA. I am a certified Leader of the Family Connections™ program—a twelve-week support course dedicated to families and loved ones of individuals with borderline personality disorder. I continually expand my professional qualifications through self-study, participation in conferences, and ongoing training.
