Experience

I have 16 years of experience working in educational institutions and in psychiatric treatment. My experience is working in a psychological-educational counselling centre with children, adolescents and their parents. I support young people in their difficulties and dilemmas. I have also worked in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Counselling Centre, primary school and kindergartens . I have provided psychological counselling, group activities and classes with children on the autism spectrum. I have gained experience in working with adults working in a Care and Treatment Centre, a Consultation Centre for people with alcohol problems and those experiencing violence. Working at the Mental Health Outpatient Clinic and at the Neurosis Treatment Unit, I support adults with manifested difficulties: neurotic disorders, depression, anxiety, eating disorders.

Work Areas

I work with couples and adults experiencing a variety of difficulties: personal crises, relationship difficulties, highly sensitive individuals. I support people with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorders, phobias, neurodiverse people, parents concerned about their children, people from alcoholic families, people whose bodies are ill due to stress. Professionally I am interested in interpersonal relationships, human potential and resources.

Therapy Approach

In my professional work, I assume that every person has great potential and resources (skills, strengths, values) that can be used. Sometimes it is difficult to reach them because they are ‘dusty’, forgotten, pushed into the background, unavailable at a given moment. forgotten, pushed into the background, not available at the moment. My role as a psychotherapist is to accompany people to develop, flourish and access these resources.

Education

I am a psychologist and a systemic psychotherapist by training. I completed my comprehensive psychotherapeutic training at the Wielkopolska Association for Systemic Therapy accredited by the Polish Psychiatric Association. I am also a graduate of the Centre for Psychological Education, where I learnt individual and group psychotherapy, many methods of effective work with a client, assistance in discovering the client's potential. I continue to develop my professional competences, explore current knowledge and participate in specialised trainings and workshops. It was a valuable experience for me to participate and complete the Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy Study, and the knowledge I gained there enables me to use in my work the assumptions and therapeutic tools from the cognitive-behavioural trend. I regularly supervise my work.

Additional information

I have participated many times in conferences, open lectures, seminars organised by PTPP and PTP.
