Experience

I am a dietitian with a specialisation in clinical dietetics, a psychodietitian and a certified personal trainer. I manage healthy individuals and patients with diet-related diseases and eating disorders. I specialise in dietary and psychodietetic support for the treatment of depression and other psychiatric disorders. I believe that the key to successful change is empathy and rapport with the patient. I rely on up-to-date, sound scientific knowledge and promote a holistic approach - because a healthy lifestyle is not only about an ideal diet, but also about balancing one's life, identifying and taking care of one's emotions - especially the difficult ones. In my work with patients I adhere to the principle of small steps, I am against prescriptions, bans and scaremongering - instead, I help people regain agency, raise their readiness to change, educate, support and show the way in the thicket of often contradictory anecdotal information and recommendations. I became a nutritionist for the love of good food, not believing, rightly so, that I do not believe, and rightly so, that healthy eating is just lettuce and 1,000 kcal a day. I believe in the nutritional power of food and treat taking care of my diet as an expression of self-love.
