Experience

I am a cognitive-behavioural psychotherapist in training to prepare for certification. I provide individual psychotherapy helping adults and adolescents. I provide counselling and therapy for people in crisis, experiencing emptiness, sadness, suicidal thoughts, relationship difficulties, and the pain of unhealed wounds from the past. I am an advocate of development-oriented therapy, thus aiming not only at overcoming already existing difficulties, but also being a path of personal development for people who want to set new goals and learn new competences to improve the quality of their lives. I am a member of the Polish Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Psychotherapy.

Work Areas

At Wellbee I provide adult psychotherapy in a CBT approach where I work with people experiencing distress from depression, anxiety, codependency, loss and work problems. I work with adult children of alcoholics and adults from dysfunctional homes as well as those experiencing difficulties in close relationships, including relationships with children, supporting parents to overcome parenting problems.

Therapy Approach

In my work, I focus on the client's resources and strengths. I accompany the difficulties experienced and facilitate the naming and expression of emotions. During the sessions, I work on increasing the client's self-awareness and empowerment, making sure that they return to effective and satisfying functioning as soon as possible. I work with respect for the other person's values and create an atmosphere of unconditional acceptance and partnership. Working in the cognitive-behavioural current, I pay special attention to psychoeducation, so that the Patient understands the processes taking place within him/her and can develop a proactive attitude that allows him/her to cope with present and future difficulties.

Education

I am a member of the Polish Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy. I am currently in the middle of a 4-year holistic training in cognitive-behavioural psychotherapy. I have a master's degree in pedagogy. I have also completed training at the American Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy. I also qualified at St. Patrick's College in Ireland. I am a graduate of the SGH coaching course and an ICF certified coach, I have been supporting corporate employees in their personal development since 2016.
