Experience

I gain my experience at the Crisis Intervention Center in Katowice, the MOPS Women's Support Group in Czeladz, the Mental Health Outpatient Clinic “Rehabilis Center”, the Center for Preventive Actions - conducting preventive workshops for parents, teachers and youth on addictions, communication. I also did an internship at the closed Psychiatric Ward in Chorzow.

Work Areas

I work with people who are experiencing difficulties related to emotional and existential crises. In the course of her professional practice, she is involved in prevention activities, conducting support groups and providing psychological consultation and therapy to adults and adolescents struggling with mood disorders (depression, bipolar affective disorder - ChAD), anxiety disorders (generalized anxiety, panic attacks, specific phobia, agoraphobia, social phobia), obsessive-compulsive disorder - OCD, eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, compulsive overeating, etc.). ), as well as those struggling with other difficulties in life.

Therapy Approach

In my work I focus on an individual approach to the patient, based on the working methods of cognitive-behavioral therapy, schema therapy, but also the so-called "third wave" therapy, which includes acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT, mindfulness).

Education

I am a psychologist and cognitive-behavioral psychotherapist, having completed 4 years of training at the School of Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy at the SWPS University of Humanities and Social Sciences. I am constantly deepening my knowledge and improving my therapeutic skills by attending trainings and conferences. I subject my work to regular supervision.
