Experience
I have gained professional experience working mainly with children with autism spectrum disorders and their parents. I conducted individual psychological therapy, social skills training, as well as group psycho-preventive activities for preschool-aged children. Currently, for about a year, I have been providing individual psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and young adults. For approximately a year, I have also been active in the “Mama na Huśtawce” Foundation, where we support young mothers and women during the perinatal period.
Work Areas
I primarily help individuals with anxiety disorders and depressive states. I work with children, adolescents, and young adults. Additionally, I gladly collaborate with children with autism spectrum disorders and their parents.
Therapy Approach
In my work with clients, I use various therapeutic techniques, such as relaxation techniques, mindfulness, elements of dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and schema therapy. I believe that therapeutic techniques should always be adapted to the client, not the other way around. This approach allows the person on the other side to feel seen as an individual and thus receive the most effective help. However, the most important aspect in working with another person is a safe therapeutic relationship, which is the foundation of the entire process.
Education
I am a psychologist and a specialist in early childhood development support, and since 2019 I have been training in the cognitive-behavioral therapy approach.
Additional information
I regularly undergo supervision in my work. My professional interests include anxiety disorders, developmental disorders within the autism spectrum, schema therapy, child psychology, and therapy for women in the perinatal period.
