Experience

I am a dietitian with a specialisation in clinical dietetics, a psychodietitian and a certified personal trainer. I manage healthy individuals and patients with diet-related diseases and eating disorders. I specialise in dietary and psychodietetic support for the treatment of depression and other psychiatric disorders. I believe that the key to successful change is empathy and rapport with the patient. I rely on up-to-date, sound scientific knowledge and promote a holistic approach - because a healthy lifestyle is not only about an ideal diet, but also about balancing one's life, identifying and taking care of one's emotions - especially the difficult ones. In my work with patients I adhere to the principle of small steps, I am against prescriptions, bans and scaremongering - instead, I help people regain agency, raise their readiness to change, educate, support and show the way in the thicket of often contradictory anecdotal information and recommendations. I became a nutritionist for the love of good food, not believing, rightly so, that. I do not believe, and rightly so, that healthy eating is just lettuce and 1,000 kcal a day. I believe in the nutritional power of food and treat taking care of my diet as an expression of self-love.

Work Areas

I specialize in eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, ARFID, and disordered relationships with food. These can manifest as episodes of loss of control around eating, emotional or stress-related overeating, and obsessive thoughts about food or weight control. I also support neurodivergent individuals in building a healthier relationship with food. I work within a weight-inclusive paradigm — I do not engage in intentional weight loss in any form. The focus of my work is the relationship with food, not body weight.

Therapy Approach

My specialty is the human being — I make space for them, setting aside numbers, variables, and statistics. I seek the person and follow their lead. I believe in the healing power of relationship. Through gentle presence and compassionate companionship, I help people reclaim food freedom and the belief that every body is enough just as it is. I teach softness and kindness — toward oneself and one's body. I guide the way toward discovering one's needs, the joy of eating (and of living!), the path home — to oneself — all while honoring the political dimensions of our relationship with the body and food.

Education

I have completed a three-level Intuitive Eating course for professionals at the London Centre for Intuitive Eating. I am currently undergoing training in Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-E) for eating disorders, conducted by the University of Oxford.

Additional information

I do not work with meal plans, except in rare cases where—due to a lack of progress in nutritional rehabilitation—they are absolutely necessary. In such situations, the decision is made jointly with the client. I do not provide weight loss services.
